Sons of Issachar

In the Old Testament, the sons of Issachar was the term used to describe one of the tribes of Israel that rallied to David's side whilst he was in exile being hunted as a fugitive by King Saul.

In 1 Chronicles 12:32, we read of " the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do". Their purpose was to see David established as the true king over Israel and they were loyal of heart to that purpose.

Sons of Issachar ministries exist to seek to encourage and equip God's people at this present hour to gain a clearer understanding of the times in which we live and what the Lord would have us do.

The call of God at this hour is to see a bride made ready for the return of the true King Jesus Christ our Lord, who will one day rule from His rightful throne in Jerusalem over all the nations of the earth.

The articles, blogs, and teaching resources will all be directed toward this theme to help see a people made ready, looking for, and hastening the return of the King.
